Callie Knead a Back

Meet Callie.

My name is Callie, and I have been practicing the healing arts for 18+ years. I became a massage therapist and energy facilitator by studying at Irene's Myomassology Institute in 2007. I founded Knead a Back in 2008 to function like urgent care, but for massage and with far more long-lasting impact.

I offer a transformative massage therapy experience that intertwines traditional techniques with energy facilitation. I’m a licensed massage therapist and relaxation specialist who invites clients into a serene home setting, where the focus is on the mind-body connection.

My work has a therapeutic effect on people. My objective point of view frequently helps them see their own problems more clearly, and my suggestions are helpful in giving them a fresh point of view. I have a practical viewpoint and am able to help people find the solution to their problems, and I am able to educate them for a clearer understanding of their health.

My skilled hands work to unravel physical pain, unearth its deeper meaning, and guide clients on a journey of self-discovery and profound relaxation.

Knead a Back in Oakland, MI, is not just a massage therapy session; it's a holistic experience that nurtures both the body and mind.

My Approach

I bring my studies in energy healing, metaphysical, spiritual, self-awareness practices, meditation, numerology, astrology, and sound into my soul-coaching practice. I enjoy sharing techniques to empower you when your body is hurting, and your mind is stuck in outdated beliefs that no longer serve your higher self.

I understand that illness and pain in the body are messengers to unresolved emotional issues that the body has not yet processed. I offer helpful resources and tools for you to explore the possible root cause that will help you understand and become aware of your own mental patterns of outdated beliefs that contribute to your pain body.

The body, mind, and soul are a complete unit that needs to be in balance to function at 100%, and I can help you get there.

You don’t get paid for the hour. You get paid for the value you bring to the hour.

Booking with Me

I keep my appointment book open for people who wake up with a stiff neck or a sore back. You can’t plan when pain shows up in the body. There is nothing worse than calling around and being told they have nothing available for a few weeks. Every session is tailored to your specific problem areas. You will never receive a basic massage here.
